The main industries are agriculture and fishing. There are several small coves on the northeastern coast. The beaches on the island are diverse, from sandy to rocky coves. On the island we find shops and restaurants. The island is connected to the mainland by frequent boat lines from Pakoštane and Biograd (catamaran). Vrgada is a favorite destination for boaters because it is an island where there are no vehicles, no crowds and it is not overcrowded.
