This house is 200 km away from Lisbon which takes about 2 hours by motorway. From the exit of the motorway to the village where the house is located are more 9 km.The village has about 50 habitants, most of them already of some age (as is usual in these parts of the interior of the country) but there are some young people who work in the paper mills that surround Vila Velha de Ródão.In the village you can count on a place to have coffee and where you can stock with the daily products (bread, milk, cheese, rice, potatoes ...) as well as read the daily newspaper!In Vila Velha de Ródão there is a supermarket, bank, health center, train station (Beira Baixa line), arts and culture center, restaurants, police, etc. If you want to go to Castelo Branco, this town is about 25 km away from Vila Velha de Ródão.Properly with regard to the property, it is a transformation completed around the year 2002 from an old oil press.
